The RAIV and its teams provide different forms of support to its member.
Fellowship program for international internship
The objective of this program is to promote student mobility. It is intended for students who are members of RAIV, but also for those affiliated with international universities who wish to do a research internship in one of the Quebec universities affiliated with ARIV.

Soutien aux membres étudiants
In their continued support of excellence, the RAIV and its teams offer Master’s and Ph.D. scholarships. Scholarships are awarded by way of a competition. The awards committee is in charge of evaluating the applications received
- Master’s excellence scholarship : between $2,000 and $4,000.
- Ph.D. excellence scholarship : between $5,000 and $8,000
- An additional postdoctoral bursary
In order to assist the dissemination of the students’ findings, the RAIV and its teams provide support funds (maximum $1,500) to promote the dissemination of the students’ findings at national and international conferences, as well as the reimbursement of the costs (maximum $2,500) for translating scientific articles for publication in international journals.
Support for research members
So as to encourage researchers to publish their findings in leading international journals, the RAIV and its teams provide funds for the reimbursement of translation costs from French to English (maximum $2,500). Start-up funding for research projects is also available (maximum $4,000).
