Postdoctoral fellowship – 6 months - $25,000

The Violence-justice team is offering a $25,000 postdoctoral fellowship to promote and support the training of a young researcher who has completed or will shortly complete his or her doctoral training in the field of intimate, family and structural violence.

This 6-month internship will take place at Université Laval in Quebec City. During this period, the successful candidate will carry out a postdoctoral project in one or other of the two research themes (axes) of the Vi-J team : 

  • (Axis 1) Continuum of individual reactions or experiences of users or professionals evolving within socio-judicial systems, in order to discover the elements that contribute to (re)producing forms of structural violence (this axis focuses on people's experience, their journeys or their points of view).  
  • (Axe 2) Continuum of legal and social responses aimed at access to social justice (this axis focuses on the study of systems, institutions, structures and policies).
