The Violence-Justice (Vi-J) research team, in collaboration with the RAIV's RETRANCHE la violence partnership project team, invites you to a lunchtime conference on Tuesday 10 December, from 12 noon to 1pm.
Conference title: ‘Homicides outside Quebec - understanding and supporting victims’ families’.
Guest speakers: Mélina Beaulieu, a doctoral student in criminology at Laval University (under the supervision of Catherine Rossi and Lucienne Martins Borges), will be joined by Anie Samson, Executive Director of the Association des Familles de Personnes Assassinées ou Disparues, to present the outcome of a partnership research project that led to the development, publication and distribution of a practical support guide for the families and loved ones of people murdered outside the province and the country. The conference and discussions will be led by Catherine Rossi, Director of the Violence-Justice Team.
